they start off living in the same house, a coleslaw of friends and family and lovers and siblings and aliens, and for a while its nice. as they age they spend less and less time around each other but always know, always, always know, they have a family in each other, no matter if they havent spoken in twenty years. over the phone - its good to know were not alone, postcards and photos on fridges and walls, people grow apart the center cannot hold but the world goes on, their found family a lodestone, a You Are Here flag, knowing you can pop in any time to find a friend who played a game with you when you were children
